Universe x Skin – What is Beautiful? Meguriai JAXA -The Texture of the Earth

Meguriai JAXA -Earth’s Skin-, a movie filmed with Daichi, an advanced land observation satellite, shows off the beautiful “skin” (surface) of the Earth and features cross-talks and commentary by researchers of the skin and Earth’s surface. Watching it on S/PARK’s large high-definition screen, viewers will encounter a new world of beauty, where space and skin come together. While watching the stunning footage, why not think about what we can do to make both our Earth and skin more beautiful?

Meguriai JAXA is a creative team that works on video projects that use images from JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency) observation satellites, which are displayed in a slow scroll so their beauty can be enjoyed. The team formed in 2017 and is made up of Kazuhiro Goto, Akira Mukaiida, Hidenori Watarai, and Takashi Sawa (representative).
